Bonsai is the brainchild of financial services industry executive, Robert DeChellis, who has over 35 years of leadership experience in top-tier asset and risk management organizations. Bonsai was created with the vision where financial advice and guidance are anchored in the methodology of personal asset liability management (PALM). The foundation of this vision is based on managing the entirety of a client's financial structure with the same level of dedication and diligence that it takes to bonsai a tree.
The interaction of a client's balance sheet, income statement and investment allocation while navigating behavioral, economic and market forces allows Bonsai to identify and mitigate hidden life event risks leading to more determined outcomes.
Through the four business pillars of the Bonsai ecosystem: MyBonsai, Bonsai Exchange, Bonsai Investment Management and Bonsai Institute, Bonsai provides advisors with the solutions, guidance and coaching needed to deliver personal asset liability management to their clients.
